Distillation column (packed tower) is a tower-type gas-liquid contact device for distillation. The use of the mixture of components with different volatility, that is, at the same temperature under the vapor pressure of the components of different properties, so that the liquid phase of the light components (low-boiling substances) transferred to the gas phase, while the gas phase of the heavy components (high-boiling substances) transferred to the liquid phase, so as to achieve the purpose of separation.
